(answer) Dear patrons! It's Friday and the fun book market is in full swing. So many great works you can grab with you on your way home for a very small fee. Therefore we dedicate the Friday quiz to the book market and you are supposed to find five differences!

We at the Municipal Library of Akureyri plan to continue with the monthly swap market this winter. We received a suggestion last winter to have them for a whole week at a time and of course we will stick to it. The September market will therefore take place all next week from 16 - 22 September 2024.

Dear crime novel fans and patrons ... we remind you that the huge crime quiz will be held in many public libraries in Iceland at the same time today, 4.30 pm!

(answer) Dear patrons! Because of unforeseen situation we had to postpone the Human Library and we are sorry for such a sudden notice! But the head librarian reacted quickly for the quiz loving people that you are and posed for a picture, in the middle of all his work (just look at his desk!)

On the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Icelandic Crime Society, they invite all crime story readers to take part in the so-called crime quiz on September 5th, an exciting quiz written by the notorious Ævar Erni Jósepsson, the society's chairman. The competition will be held in many public libraries at the same time.
